The tradition of the russian realistic painting includes a number of different trends: historical painting (monumental,pathetic), lanscapes, expressing deep feelings and passions, genre painting, sometimes sentimental, sometimes full of humor. The russian artist Anatoliy Gussarov has got all those
features in his works: passion and pathetic in his marinas,
sentimentality in his black and white graphics, humor in his Anatoliy Gussarov was born in 1959 in the city of Tcelinograd (Kazakhstan). He spent his childhood and youth in Tuapse near Black sea, and the sea become one of the most favorite thems of his pictures. In 1971 Anatoliy took part in the competition of the young artists of Kazakhstan and won the 1st diploma. Later he finished the Art school in Alma-Ata and devoted himself to the monumental painting. In 1992 he moved to Prague(Czech Republic). There he invented his own technique of black and white graphics based on using the oil colors. Also he continued to make monumental painting on the
walls and designed several interiors for the Prague cafes and
clubs. His paintings are represented in the paersonal collections all over the world. |
